After the battle of Iwo Jima, the surviving flag-raisers – including Ira Hayes (Adam Beach, right) and John “Doc” Bradley (Ryan Phillippe, center) – are asked by Keyes Beech (John Benjamin Hickey, left) to participate in a bond tour to raise money for victory. As part of the tour, they are cheered by thousands in Times Square.
