Espelho Mágico

TV-Series about the lives, conflicts, and achievements of a group of actors doing a series called "Coquetel de Amor" (Love Cocktail), while some of them are also rehearsing Edmond Rostand's play Cyrano de Bergerac. The roles in the series are also very similar to the actors' real-life story. We have the famous TV couple Bruno Maia and Leila Lombardi (played by a famous TV couple in real life) who are the stars in the "Coquetel de Amor" series. Leila's daughter, Beatriz, doesn't approve of her mother's new marriage, and is a problem for their relationship, since she wanted her mother to go back to her father, playwright Jordão Amaral. There's the obscured star Nora Pelegrini, trying a comeback after her career was interrupted by her marriage to Jordão Amaral, and not really enjoying the fact her role was a small one. There's also the young actress Cynthia Levy, struggling to succeed. And, among others, the old-timer Carijó and his daughter Lenita, who wanted a revival of his music-hall show.
