Montana (2008)

Newly released from jail gangster Nikolai "Montana" Umansky (Oleg Taktarov) is invited by his best friend Viktor, a former accomplice and now a wealthy businessman, to Moscow. It turned out that Victor has a task for Nikolai in the USA - to "send someone to the forefathers", and he offers this to Nikolai in exchange for a share in a large company. When "work' is done, upon returning to the motel, his accomplice Rodriguez unexpectedly tries to kill him. Umansky understands that the task was nothing more than a setup. He manages to get rid of Rodriguez and escape from his pursuers. Having told Victor that he was going to return to Russia, he goes to the airport, but at the airport, remembering his childhood dream - to visit the state of Montana, his plans change and he goes there. The situation is complicated by the fact that Nikolai almost does not know English and has very little money, often because of this he finds himself in difficult situations. Along the way, he meets a young divorced woman with a child and for the first time in his life falls in love and feels happy, but his criminal past does not let him go so easily. Meanwhile, in search of Umansky, the Russian mafia is already following in his footsteps.
