The Stronger Mind (1912)
This new story of the famous hypnotic detective Prof. Locksley, fully sustains the reputation he acquired in his former appearance. The story is one of a dishonest butler who incidentally learns he can hypnotize under favorable conditions. Covetous of the jewels he has seen locked in the family safe, he hypnotizes his eccentric master, influences him to open the safe, and steals and secretes them with a friend. The detective while visiting his fiancée learns of the loss and immediately sets to work to solve the mystery with the happiest results.
