Faust and the Lily (1913)
Mr. Goethe and Mr. Gounod have given the world an undisputed classic in the story of Faust. That is not for the Biograph comedy players to deny. Yet their version is a little more optimistic, at least. Faust, as all good people should know, thwarts the Devil and marries Margherita.
